Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 August, a regular meeting of the inter-parliamentary group of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Korea-Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary friendship association of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea was held.

It was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoev, deputies of the Legislative Chamber, members of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea headed by Park Kwangon.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary relations, as well as mechanisms for interaction to ensure effective joint parliamentary monitoring of the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level were discussed.

The parties also stressed the high level of development of the Uzbek-Korean special strategic partnership.
