Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 8 November from 07:00 to 13:00 - in connection with the holding of the stage of the Uzbekistan Duathlon Championship - the following road sections will be unavailable for traffic:

1) Karatash Street - from Samarkand Darvoza Street towards the People’s Friendship Square;

2) Islam Karimov Avenue - from Almazar Street (metro station "Uzbekistan") towards the People’s Friendship Square;

3) Bobur Street - from Urikzar Street (University of Uzbek Language and Literature, exit from the side of the "Rakat" mahalla);

4) The entire route along which sports events will take place, includung sections of Islam Karimov, Furkat, Seulskaya, Bunyodkor streets (duplicate road from Seulskaya street to Islam Karimov avenue).

Tashkent city administration recommends that drivers use bypass roads to avoid possible traffic jams, the press service of the city khokimiyat reported.
