A new insignia in the army of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Presidential Resolution "On additional measures for organizing physical training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan at a high level" was adopted.

The document approved:

Regulations on the procedure for conducting intensive tests and awarding servicemen with the Dovyurak Jangchi insignia of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- type and description of the "Dovyurak jangchi" insignia.

The Regulations determine the main goals, directions and procedure for conducting intensive tests, as well as awarding the Dovyurak Jangchi insignia to contract servicemen (hereinafter referred to as military personnel) of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Security Service and the National Guard (hereinafter referred to as the responsible ministries and departments).

Intensive testing is understood as a set of exercises to test physical strength and endurance, as well as psychological resistance of servicemen to various physical loads in extreme conditions.

The Regulation also applies concepts such as adaptive skills, walking (march), psychological stability, strength exercises, a single obstacle course, military units, physical training of military personnel, extreme conditions.

Intensive testing and awarding with the Dovyurak Jangchi insignia is carried out annually in the following order:

a) until 15 August, servicemen who have expressed a desire to take part in intensive tests, apply with a report to their immediate commander (chief);

b) until 25 August, the general meeting of the military unit considers candidates and discusses their service activities for the last year and, by 1 September, submits a list of candidates to the Intensive Testing Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Commission);

c) The Commission conducts a medical examination of candidates and issues a permit for the participation of military personnel in intensive tests;

d) from 15 to 30 September, intensive tests are carried out in accordance with the internal departmental act on the organization and conduct of intensive tests of each ministry and department. The tests are carried out in three stages:

Stage I - performing a set of strength exercises;

Stage II - foot march for 30 km (march-throw);

Stage III - performing a general control exercise on a single obstacle course and exercises on practical shooting from small arms (from a machine gun or pistol), as well as throwing a knife;

e) by 30 September, the Commission determines the participants who have successfully passed the intensive tests;

f) By 1 November, servicemen who have successfully passed intensive tests are awarded by the heads of the relevant ministries and departments with the Dovyurak Jangchi insignia and a one-time cash bonus in the amount of one salary for military rank and position.

The insignia "Dovyurak jangchi", awarded to servicemen, remains with them for the entire period of service and is worn on the right side of the chest. The heads of the relevant ministries and departments may deprive a soldier of the insignia for gross violation of service discipline, committing actions that contradict the requirements of military regulations, as well as discrediting the honor and dignity of a serviceman, undermining the authority of a military unit or the Armed Forces.

Participants who disagree with the results of intensive trials have the right to appeal to the appeal commissions within 24 hours from the day the results of the intensive trials are announced.
