Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 August 2020, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India held negotiations in the format of a video conference with the managing director of the network of private schools “G.D. Goenka Public School” in Uttar Pradesh by Chandan Agarwal.
The network of private schools “G.D. Goenka Public School” is part of one of the leading companies in India Goenka Group. The network includes schools specializing in teaching music, tennis, badminton and cricket.
During the conversation, the Indian businessman said that in February-March of this year he visited Uzbekistan and got acquainted with the opportunities created for foreign investors in our country.
Following the visit, Ch. Agarwal confirmed the interest of the Indian company in small projects in the field of preschool education and sports. In particular, he reported on plans to implement a project on the gradual creation of sports clubs in Tashkent city and regions, as well as to establish yoga classes in these clubs along with other sports. He also expressed his desire to open preschool educational institutions specializing in the study of English in the future.
During the meeting, the Indian businessman was informed in detail about the priorities and current projects in the investment and trade spheres between Uzbekistan and India.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached that Ch. Agarwal will visit Uzbekistan by the end of this year to take practical steps on these projects.
