A multi-port control system to be introduced at the airports of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the sidelines of the 17th International Exhibition Transport and Logistics - 2021, Uzbekistan Airports signed an agreement with IPG for the supply and implementation of systems and subsystems for managing airport activities.

On the part of the management company, the agreement was signed by the deputy chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Airports Javlon Umarkhodjaev, on the part of the IPG company - by the general director Aleksey Tsyplakov.

Within the framework of the agreement, the systems for maintaining the airport operating base AODB, systems for coordinating slots with airlines and forming a SLOT schedule and a visual information system for passengers FIDS are purchased.

“As a company that manages all the airports in Uzbekistan, we needed to implement a multi-port system with a single center of operations, which would allow rational use of resources. The multiport system is designed to maintain a seasonal and daily flight plan, control slotting, visualize information for passengers - start and end of check-in, central flight schedule. This is the basic system that an airport should have. It allows you to have historical data and forecast for the future. And all other systems will be built on the basis of this system - information counter, information kiosks and others. This is the heart of every airport,” said Javlon Umarkhodjaev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports.

It should be noted that this supplier was selected following a tender in which such foreign companies as Monitor Soft, ZAMAR, ARINC and TAV technologies took part. The company has broad expertise in airport operations, provided extensive product information and favorable commercial terms. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will supply software to the airports of the republic and carry out work on the implementation and further technical support of the system.
