A Modern Pharmaceutical Production Project Launched in Namangan Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Namangan, a major pharmaceutical project by NANO PHARMACEUTICAL has begun, aimed at producing modern medicinal products.
Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, the Hokim of Namangan Region, reviewed the progress of construction and installation work at the facility.
The total cost of the project amounts to US$20 million, of which US$5 million are the company’s own funds, and US$15 million have been invested by the Chinese corporation JIANGSU GUOTAI BOCHUANG INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.
Once operational, the plant will have an annual production capacity of up to 40 million units of medicines, with products valued at around US$3 million earmarked for export. The project is expected to create 100 new jobs.
NANO PHARMACEUTICAL represents a new business line of MERRY MED FARM, established in 2010. The enterprise comprises 30 production workshops employing over 1,200 staff members.
The company manufactures more than 180 types of medicines that comply with international quality standards. Its products are exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.
