A Modern Kindergarten Opens in Chirchiq Based on Chinese Educational Experience
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new state kindergarten with 240 places has opened in Chirchiq. The construction and equipping of the facility required 4 billion soums. The institution was designed incorporating advanced pedagogical practices from China.
Special attention at the kindergarten is given to STEM education, information technology, learning through play, development of creative thinking, teamwork skills, and practical activities — methods widely used in China for early childhood development.
Currently, Chirchiq has 61 kindergartens, and 84.6% of children aged 3–7, or 9,880 children, have access to preschool education.
The opening of the new facility will help increase this coverage and expand access to quality early childhood education.
