A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Council of Trade of Thailand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 March, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the format of the videoconferencing ceremony hosted the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Council of Trade of Thailand.

The event was attended by the Acting Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan I. Zhasimov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Trade of Thailand S. Angubolkul, Consul General, Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Bangkok F. Sultanov and others.

At the beginning of the event, the Acting Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan I. Zhasimov made an introductory speech, where he noted that the Kingdom of Thailand is one of the important partners of Uzbekistan in Southeast Asia. He also noted that trade, economic and cultural ties are developing between the countries at various levels.

It is worth emphasizing that the interest of Thai business circles in expanding business ties with Uzbekistan is consistently increasing. Today, a number of projects totaling US$12 million are being implemented in our country with the participation of Thai investments.

As a result of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Council of Trade of Thailand.

The signing of this Memorandum will be the next stage in the development of mutual relations and will contribute to the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Thailand.
