Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of members of the editorial board of the International Journal "Economy of Central Asia" was held at the ] Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies (ISMI) under the President of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the management of the ISMI, experts from the Institute, as well as representatives of the leading scientific and academic circles of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the meeting is to implement a comprehensive program for cooperation with this publication.

The Economy of Central Asia magazine is one of the 10 leading economic journals of the First Russian Economic Publishing House. The editorial board of the Journal includes the most authoritative Russian and foreign scientists from CA countries.

The participants of the event were informed of detailed information about the concept of regional policy of the Journal and the opening opportunities for cooperation between domestic scientists and foreign experts.

During the conversation, it was noted that this Journal acts as an expert scientific and information center for the whole of Central Asia, and the development perspective of which is important for the development of both science and economic development of the states of the region.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the formation of long-term ties and the creation of a professional expert community for mutual support of national and international research and the publication of high-quality materials.
