A meeting with a delegation of the Saudi Development Fund was held at the Ministry of Preschool of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 31 January 2022, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Preschool Education of Uzbekistan with a delegation of the Saudi Development Fund, headed by the Operational Head for Central Asia, Mr. Mohammed Almasoud.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the Ministry of Preschool Education and the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) were discussed within the framework of the jointly implemented project "Assistance in the development of the non-state sector of the preschool education system."

In his opening speech, Mr. Mohammed Almasoud emphasized that the SDF is committed to building a mutually beneficial partnership with the Republic of Uzbekistan in various areas of bilateral cooperation, including interaction in the field of preschool education.

In this context, the importance of the early development of preschool children, which is an integral part of the strategic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was noted.

According to the guest, in recent years Uzbekistan has achieved significant results in the field of preschool education, and the large-scale reforms being carried out in the republic aimed at achieving the long-term development of the country have created the basis for the emergence of new breakthrough and innovative solutions in the system of preschool education.

At the same time, according to Mr. Abdulrahman Alsokhir, the successful activities of the Ministry to increase the coverage of preschool education for children aged 3-7 years and the increase in the number of preschool educational organizations deserve special attention.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to continue joint work in order to successfully implement the current project.
