Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Termez, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov held a meeting with local bloggers and independent journalists, during which an exchange of views took place on current issues and events taking place in the country and abroad.

Particular attention was paid to systemic problems faced by entrepreneurs and exporters in their activities, issues of improving the conditions for doing business in the region, measures to support entrepreneurship, develop industrial potential and increase employment.

Changes in the conjuncture of international economic relations, current challenges facing domestic business, and new opportunities for diversifying investment cooperation and export supplies were also discussed.

Representatives of the blogging community voiced proposals to increase the involvement of journalists in the processes of improving the investment climate, quickly identify urgent problems of entrepreneurs and the local population, as well as to establish mechanisms for close interaction with responsible ministries, departments and local authorities.

During the conversation, specific problematic issues identified by bloggers in the course of communication with representatives of local businesses were also considered. Responsible managers were instructed to take control of the prompt solution of the problems voiced.
