Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to discuss issues of enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan held a meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan Takashi Uto. The embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo reports.

During the talks, an exchange of views took place on the possibilities of further building up cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan during the coronavirus pandemic.

The need to continue the dynamics of interaction to strengthen relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres was noted.

An agreement was reached on close coordination on the development of the Uzbek-Japanese strategic partnership.
