Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing with Hu Ning, general manager of Beijing GOKO Investment Management Co., LTD, Dunyo news agency reported.

This company is a large manufacturer of packaged dried fruits and snacks and is interested in purchasing high-quality and natural dried fruits from Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, issues of supply of raisins, prunes and other various dried fruits from Uzbekistan to China were discussed. Representatives of the Embassy presented samples of the offered products and discussed logistics issues, outlined the requirements for the quality of dried fruits.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the supply of 500 tons of dried black raisins by the end of 2020.

Also, the Chinese side invited representatives of Uzbek enterprises to visit and get acquainted with the production process of the customer company in Beijing to discuss issues of further cooperation.

At present, the Embassy continues systematic work to study the issues of organizing supplies to China and other types of agricultural products produced in Uzbekistan.
