Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan between the First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and the chairman of Mangold Consulting Klaus Mangold.

During a productive dialogue, the parties exchanged views on a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of joint investment projects, as well as interaction in the fields of education and the implementation of joint initiatives.

Significant opportunities were noted for the development of cooperation in the investment sphere in such areas as energy, agriculture, food and chemical industries, production of building materials, transport and tourism.

The parties will continue to work to attract potential counter-partners from among Uzbek and German entrepreneurs for the implementation of joint projects. 

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue interaction in areas of mutual interest in the trade and economic sphere.
