Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 June 2021, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sadyk Safoev met with members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states.
The meeting was attended by members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states, members of the Senate and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the head of the national movement "Yuxalish".
The parties discussed issues of further strengthening inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
It was noted that in order to establish direct contacts between parliamentarians of the countries, regular visits of delegations are carried out, members of parliaments study lawmaking activities and exchange experience.
Relations are currently developing in socio-political directions.
Members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in our country, in particular, the work aimed at the development of entrepreneurship, the implementation of logistics and infrastructure projects.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the further development of practical cooperation in trade, economic, tourism, scientific, cultural and other spheres, including within the framework of cooperation between Turkic-speaking states.
Participants of the international forum of inter-parliamentary global cooperation in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be held on 23-24 June in the city of Bukhara, expressed their opinion.
