Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 12 to 18 February 2023, a regular meeting of working groups of government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic was held in Ferghana to agree on the organizational and legal issues of the upcoming demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border.

During the negotiations, the parties prepared for further approval draft legal and technical documents regulating the work on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border, and also agreed on the Schedule of field surveys of individual sections of the border.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.

As a result of the event, the Protocol was signed.

The next meeting will take place on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
