Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 April this year, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldoshev met with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev in Tashkent.
During the meeting, representatives of the Azerbaijani delegation were informed about the large-scale reforms being carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan in all spheres of society and the state, in particular, in the field of entrepreneurship development, comprehensive support for the population, combating corruption, as well as the main areas of activity of the prosecutor’s office of Uzbekistan.
In particular, the Azerbaijani colleagues were presented with a presentation on the work carried out by the prosecutor’s office of Uzbekistan to introduce modern information and communication technologies into their activities, including the digitalization of office work, the maintenance of electronic criminal law statistics, information systems "E-material", "Budget control".
The parties came to a mutual opinion that between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan there is a significant untapped potential in many areas of cooperation, in connection with which, readiness was expressed to further expand interagency cooperation.
In conclusion, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev was awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan" for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In addition, the members of the delegation had a tour of the museum of the General Prosecutor’s Office, and the Azerbaijani side got acquainted with the activities of the Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
