Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 May 2021, a meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology was held.

The event was attended by members of the Permanent Commission of the IPA CIS, parliaments of the CIS countries, including the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Agrarian, Water Management and Ecology R. Siddikov.

The participants discussed the draft model laws "On grain", "On the legal regime of territories exposed to radioactive contamination", as well as concepts of draft model laws of the law "On environmental safety (new edition), "On access to environmental information" (new edition), "On production and consumption waste" (new edition) and others.

Information on the activities of the Mountain Partnership under the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (Mountain Partnership) was heard, as well as issues of preparation for the conference "The Image of a Modern City" dedicated to the Year of Architecture and Urban Development in the CIS, which is planned in autumn 2021.
