Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 January, in the city of Termez, D. Yunus, a resident of the Termez district, contacted the short number "102" of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate (names and surnames have been changed). 

He stated that at 07.30 that day, on the territory of the Shifokor mahalla of the city, he parked a Spark car on the side of the road and went to a grocery store. And when he left the store, it turned out that someone stole his car. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Surkhandarya region.

As a result of the operational measures taken by the employees of the internal affairs bodies, it was established that Asror Ch., a resident of the city of Termez, stole this car, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication. Having reached the mahalla Temir Yulchi of the city, he left the car safe and sound.

On 1 January, a criminal case was initiated against Asror Ch. under part 1 of Article 267 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
