Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Decree of the President "On approval of the strategy of social protection of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted

This Decree defines the priority areas of social protection of the population. 

According to the Law, the practice of providing social services to the population directly at the mahalla level will be introduced. 

In accordance with the Decree approved:

- The strategy of social protection of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its targets;

- "Roadmap" for the implementation of this strategy in 2022-2023.

The Social Insurance Fund has been established within the structure of the Ministry of Finance.

Starting from 1 September 2022, maternity benefits are paid at the expense of the Social Insurance Fund based on the minimum consumption expenditures for state social insurance.

At the same time, if there are breaks in the work experience of the employee up to 1 month, the months preceding and following these breaks are used when calculating the continuous work experience.

Until 1 March 2023, a list of minimum social services guaranteed by the state and provided free of charge will be formed.

Until 1 July 2023, the minimum standards for the provision of social services provided guaranteed and free of charge will be approved.
