A KamAZ driver killed two children in Samarkand region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Samarkand region, the driver of a KamAZ truck killed two children. This was reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate of Samarkand region.

The incident occurred on 4 June at about 16:30 on the 35th kilometer of the A-378 Samarkand-Guzar highway, passing through the Mekhnatkash mahalla of the Nurabad district.

A KamAZ driver hit a woman and her two minor children who were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.

The woman was hospitalized, but the children died at the scene from their injuries.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact, and investigative actions are underway.
