Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 September this year, a meeting was held with the director of the Scientific Research Hydrometrological Institute F. Agzamova and Dietrich Althausen, professor at the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (Germany). 

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the study of dust and dust storms that took place on 3-4 November 2021 in the context of climate change in Uzbekistan, and conducting scientific research on them.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to increase cooperation between the Research Hydrometrological Institute and the German Institute for Traposphere Research. Leibniz in the study of dust formation.

Based on the results of scientific research, it was decided to hold an international scientific and practical conference in Uzbekistan in 2023-2024 on dust and dust formation resulting from climate change. It was decided to invite scientists from Central Asia, European countries and the USA dealing with these issues to this scientific-practical conference.
