A group of doctors head to Tajikistan to help fight the coronavirus infection

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of Uzbek specialists with extensive experience and qualifications in the field of combating coronavirus infection, effective treatment of infected patients went to the Republic of Tajikistan.

It is known that the Uzbek and Tajik peoples are closely connected by the bonds of centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness, a common religion, a similar culture, customs and traditions. Especially thanks to the political will and reasonable policy of the head of our state, in recent years comprehensive cooperation between the two countries has reached a new level, friendship between our peoples has strengthened. During a recent telephone conversation between the presidents of the two countries, special attention was paid to further strengthening good neighborly relations and strategic partnership.

Our doctors who went to Tajikistan will assist Tajik medical personnel in organizing the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19.

It should be noted that in our country, as well as throughout the world, medical workers who deeply feel a great responsibility to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, effective treatment of patients with this infection, courageously and heroically fight coronavirus and achieve effective results. In particular, the spread of infection is slowing, and the number of people recovering from this disease is increasing. In addition, thousands of healthcare providers set an example of dedication by providing medical assistance to quarantined citizens in special institutions.

A group of medical workers who went to the Republic of Tajikistan consists of experienced doctors with extensive experience in treating patients with coronavirus, including resuscitation anesthetists, pulmonologists, epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists, and virologists.

Most importantly, the fact that our doctors rushed to the rescue proves that the Uzbek-Tajik peoples have always been friends and are ready to help each other in difficult times
