A gas explosion occurred in the basement of an auto parts store in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Bukhara, on 1 March at 08:57, a gas explosion occurred in the basement of an auto parts store on Alpamysh Street in the Yoshlik mahalla, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

As a result of the incident, two concrete slabs on the first floor collapsed.

One person died, another citizen was taken to the hospital with various injuries.

A preliminary investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion.
