A furniture production cluster has been created in Yangiyer

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A furniture production cluster has been created in Yangiyer. The cost of the project is estimated at US$10 million. This was stated by the press service of the khokimiyat of  Syrdarya region.

Previously, the  was engaged in the production of chipboards. After a visit to China and studying the Chinese experience, the company decided to expand its activities.

The Chinese company Beijing Goods Jiangsu New Material invested US$4 million to purchase the latest equipment from China and Turkiye.

Currently, the company produces 3 million m² of chipboard and MDF, as well as various furniture products, which replaces imports worth more than 35 billion soums annually.

It is planned to increase the export volume to US$1.5 million.
