Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in France organized a visit of the head of the French company La Crémerie du Marché, Pascal Colas, to Uzbekistan to attract investments and new technologies in the development of the domestic food industry, as well as to discuss the implementation of projects for the processing of dairy products.

The French businessman held productive talks with the heads of the companies Tillo Domor in Khorezm region and Panaev Farms in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, specializing in the production of cheese. He highly appreciated the conditions created in the country for foreign investors and showed interest in the development of investment cooperation with Uzbekistan companies.

Following the meetings, an agreement was reached on the implementation of two projects for the production of French cheeses in Khorezm region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. A joint venture will be created with an equal share of the parties in the authorized capital for their implementation. The joint venture will start operating in December 2021.
