A driver hit and killed a student in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A traffic accident occurred in Samarkand, as a result of which a local university student died.

The incident occurred on 21 May at 23:30 on Talabalar Hiyoboni Street. The driver who was driving the Nexia-2 car hit a young man who was a fourth-year student at Samarkand State University named after Sharaf Rashidov.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, the student died.

A criminal case has been initiated into the accident. A pre-investigation check is being carried out.
