The draft National Strategy envisages the current situation in the country on combating corruption, shortcomings, and the main directions of future state policy. It is also planned to reflect in it the monitoring of the implementation of these tasks, the definition of the financing mechanism and the expected results from the work done.

At the event on this project, the Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Judicial and Legal Issues and Anti-Corruption N. Umarov spoke, who noted that thanks to the implementation of the Strategy, it is planned to improve national legislation, create an organizational and legal system in the country aimed at preventing corruption, ensuring effective parliamentary and public control, raising the legal awareness and culture of the population, as well as further improving the country's indicators in international ratings and indices in this area.

The participants made proposals to eliminate legal gaps, improve the regulatory framework of the civil service system, further strengthen the independence of the judiciary, gradually introduce a system for declaring income, create effective legal mechanisms for public procurement, and ensure real freedom of civil society institutions and the media.
