Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Members of the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Board met with the leadership of the international banks Mizuho and JPMorgan Chase & Co. and exchanged views on many financial matters.
At the meetings, representatives of the banks were provided with detailed information on the overall activities of the Company, the existing transformation processes and the results achieved in recent years.
Representatives of foreign banks were also acquainted with the ongoing reforms in the oil and gas and banking and financial sectors of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the current activities of the Company, with ongoing transformation projects, as well as with the results achieved.
At a meeting with the international bank Mizuho, the parties discussed the possibility of attracting medium-term and long-term financing for the implementation of projects of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and for other corporate purposes.
It is worth noting that the bankers were especially interested in the debut successful issue of Eurobonds of Uzbekneftegaz JSC for a total of US$700 million, as well as the recent receipt of the first batch of products from the Uzbekistan GTL plant.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain constant communication and exchange of necessary information with these international banks, as well as to further study existing promising areas of cooperation.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is one of the largest banks in the US and cooperation with this bank is considered important. During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas for the exchange of professional experience, including through various conferences and seminars, the possibility of attracting short-term financing for ongoing projects and various corporate needs of the company.
An agreement was reached with these banks to maintain constant communication and exchange of necessary information, as well as further development of the currently available promising areas of cooperation.
