Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Aziz Abdukhakimov visited Turkey, where he met with the leadership of the world famous Pegasus Airlines.

During negotiations with the leadership of Pegasus Airlines, one of the largest low-cost airlines in the world, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke in detail about the reforms and advantages implemented at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to attract foreign airlines to our country.

These include lower prices for domestic airports, jet fuel and ground handling services, and the introduction of a refund system for foreign tourists. After that, Pegasus Airlines specialists presented a map of flights connecting the countries of pilgrim tourism around the world, and a project to connect this stream with the cities of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the negotiations, representatives of Pegasus Airlines announced that they would develop and submit to Uzbekistan a new commercial proposal based on the benefits provided by Uzbekistan. After the talks, the Uzbek delegation got acquainted with the management system and logistics capabilities of the Sabiha Gokcen airport in Istanbul.
