Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – During a visit to Uzbekistan, carried out within the framework of the EURLO project in Central Asia, a delegation of the Polish border service, headed by the Director of the Office for Foreigners of the Main Commandant's Office of the Polish Border Service, Andrzej Jakubasek, visited one of the departments of internal affairs of the capital.

The guests were told about the main stages of reforming the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent, about measures for the early prevention of offenses, familiarized with the conditions created in the department of internal affairs for employees of services. 

Special emphasis was placed on the fact that in recent years, in the activities of the internal affairs bodies of the capital, developments in the field of information and communication technologies have been increasingly used, which makes it possible to qualitatively increase the efficiency of response to incidents, as well as to timely prevent offenses, especially in places most frequently visited by people.

The head of the delegation of the Polish border service was shown the technical means introduced into the activities of the unit, including cars, special equipment and special equipment, which are currently in service with the employees of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate.

Acting Deputy Head of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent - Head of the Department for Ensuring Safe Tourism Colonel Doniyor Ergashev informed the guests about the activities of the unit he headed, popularly known as the "tourist police", about the work of employees during the quarantine period and about the assistance they provided to people in difficult conditions. all the time.

On the same day, the guests, accompanied by the "tourist police", visited the Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
