A delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Belarus gets acquainted with the reforms in Uzbekistan in the field of rulemaking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 February, as part of a visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Filippova, a bilateral meeting was held at the Ministry of Justice.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Justice Alisher Karimov informed in detail about the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, including in the field of rule-making. This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

At the meeting, the role and activities of the Ministry of Justice in the process of rule-making were considered, including the development of draft modern legislative acts, their legal expertise and anti-corruption expertise, as well as the introduction of institutions such as regulatory impact assessment, "regulatory guillotine", models " smart regulation.

As a result of the meeting between the ministries of justice of Uzbekistan and Belarus, an agreement was reached to continue further large-scale cooperation in the field of rule-making.

During the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Belarus, it is also planned to familiarize and exchange experience on the effective operation of the centers for the provision of public services, the work carried out on the digitization and dissemination of legal information in the system of justice bodies.
