Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As part of a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan headed by Minister Major General of Police Ulan Niyazbekov visited the Main Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD) of the city of Tashkent.

The guests were greeted by the head of the GUVD of Tashkent, Major General Aziz Tashpulatov. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of friendly Kyrgyzstan was briefly told about the structure and main tasks of the law enforcement department of the capital of Uzbekistan, reforms and plans for the future.

Then the guests were introduced to the duty section, the Information Multimedia Center of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent and the recently opened Shon-Sharaf museum within its walls.

So, as it was emphasized by the responsible employees of the Organizational Directorate of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent, in the duty department, a continuous process of improving activities is underway, advanced methods of work, information and communication technologies are tested and implemented, which allows raising the efficiency of responding to incidents to a qualitatively new level and, accordingly, solving crimes by hot pursuit.

Special attention of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan was drawn to the work of the Information Multimedia Center, whose tasks include not only coverage of the activities of the internal affairs bodies of the capital, prevention of offenses and crimes, informing citizens and the media about the results of the work of the department, but also preparation of refutations on the fact of spreading false information. explanations and clarifications on the events that caused a wide public outcry.

The guests were greatly interested in the excursion to the Shon-Sharaf museum, the expositions of four sections of which are represented by rare and sometimes unique samples of uniforms, auto and motor vehicles, equipment, special equipment and service weapons used at different stages of the formation of the republic's internal affairs bodies.
