Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, which arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan on a working visit, visited the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent.
The working group is headed by the National Coordinator for Police Reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, Colonel of Militia Hamdamzoda Valikhon Hamdam. This was reported by the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent.
The guests were briefly told about the structure and main tasks of the law enforcement department of the capital of Uzbekistan, reforms and plans for the future.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Information Multimedia Center of the Main Directorate, whose tasks include coverage of the activities of the internal affairs bodies of the capital, prevention of offenses and crimes, informing citizens and the media about the results of the work of the department, as well as explanations and clarifications on events that caused a wide public outcry.
The guests were greatly interested in the excursion to the Shon-Sharaf Museum, whose expositions tell about the stages of formation and development of the sphere of public security in different periods of history. Here are collected samples of uniforms, service weapons, equipment and special equipment that were in service with the personnel of the department in different years.
The delegation also visited a law enforcement point in Chilanzar region, where the guests were told about the methods of work and future plans.
On the second day, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Department of Patrol and Guard Service and Protection of Public Order.
At present, the visit of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, who are in Uzbekistan, continues.
