Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 December 2021, Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev met with General Director of LLC Petro Retail Tulemis Shotanov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the transformation processes in the oil and gas industry of the two countries and new trends in the development of the fuel and energy sector.

Attention was also paid to the current activities of Petro Retail LLP and plans for cooperation with potential partners in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that Petro Retail LLP is engaged in retail sales of motor fuels and manages a network of filling stations in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also has accredited laboratories for quality control of petroleum products.

Chairman of the Management Board Mehriddin Abdullaev expressed his gratitude to the Petro Retail company for their interest in establishing cooperation between the two companies in line with the developing good-neighborly relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the creation of a joint working group to study the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation and prepare proposals in specific areas of interaction.
