Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A criminal case has been initiated in Russia’s Primorsky Krai regarding hooligan attacks on migrant workers from Uzbekistan.

According to the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Primorsky Krai, the incident occurred on 10 September in Vladivostok. The investigation indicates that a group of teenagers, reportedly intoxicated, damaged a parked vehicle and sprayed an aerosol can inside it without any apparent reason. They then attacked the driver of a cargo vehicle.

Additionally, the suspects broke into a 24-hour store on Khabarovskaya Street and assaulted a man in the presence of customers and the shop assistant. Later, they attacked a taxi driver and a passenger in the vehicle. On the street, the teenagers shouted loudly and used stones and other improvised objects in attacks, severely disrupting public order.

All participants have been identified: one has been detained, while two are currently wanted. A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism”). Investigators are working to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
