Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 December 2021, citizen R.N. applied to the Department of Internal Affairs with a statement. She explained that on the same day, when she was at the dekhkan market located on Bozorboshi street, unknown persons stole 2,000,000 soums from her pocket.

On this fact, the police of Ferghana city opened a criminal case under paragraph "a" of part 2 of Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code.

In the course of the carried out operational-search actions, it was established that this crime was committed by citizen I.M., an investigation is underway.

A person who has committed a crime provided for in part 2 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code may be punished with imprisonment for up to five years.
