A Chinese company plans to organize the production of electric vehicles in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chinese Anhui Coronet Tech. Co., LTD. plans to organize the production of electric vehicles in Uzbekistan.

A delegation of the Chinese company held a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to discuss the project.

At the first stage of the project, the Chinese company intends to invest US$7 million for the construction of production workshops.

In the second stage, it is planned to increase the investment volume to US$30 million through the installation of equipment.

Anhui Coronet Tech. Co., LTD plans to sell electric vehicles in Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries.

A free economic zone in Khorezm region is being considered as a site for the project.
