Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- One of the most important and priority areas of digital reforms is the development and further improvement of the e-government system. This, in turn, will not only significantly save time, labor and financial resources, but most importantly, will create additional convenience for citizens, allow them to receive various services on time and without high costs.

Over the past two years, large-scale work has been carried out in terms of creating an integral system for the provision of modern electronic public services, the introduction of new mechanisms of cooperation between the state, entrepreneurs and the population.

In order to develop contactless forms of communication between the state and entrepreneurs, a single portal of interactive state services was developed. At present, 218 types of public services are provided to the population in the EPIGU system, and by the end of the year their number is planned to be brought to 230.

And recently, the list of public services in the EPIGU system has been supplemented with one more - now citizens through the Single Portal can receive an archive certificate confirming higher and secondary special education. The service itself is provided free of charge within five working days.

The main goal of the implementation of all digital reforms in the socio-economic life of the country is to provide citizens with high-quality and convenient services at any time and place convenient for them. And in this regard, the development of the e-government system is one of the priority areas of digital reforms.
