A Center for rare disease patients to open in Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A specialized center to assist individuals with rare diseases will soon open in Uzbekistan with the participation of Russian specialists. This was announced by the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, who noted that the center will be located in Tashkent region.

In addition, the authorities of the Moscow region plan to implement a project to establish a children's hospital in Fergana, based on the experience of constructing a similar medical facility in Krasnogorsk.

Andrey Vorobyov also emphasized that half of the total volume of Russian pharmaceutical exports to Uzbekistan comes from the Moscow region.

Furthermore, an Uzbek investor is planning to launch a bearing production facility in the Moscow region.

"We are always open to cooperation with investors from Uzbekistan. The region has six special economic zones, 72 industrial parks, and another 27 are in the process of formation," noted the governor.
