A car caught fire after hitting a concrete fence in Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A traffic accident involving a Chevrolet Lacetti car occurred in Tashkent region, the press service of the regional traffic police said.

The incident happened on 27 May at 21:45 on the 67th kilometer of the 4R12 Bektemir - Charvak highway in Bostanlyk district.

The driver lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier on the side of the road, causing the car to overturn and a fire to break out in the engine compartment.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly extinguished the fire. No one was injured or killed as a result of the accident.
