Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 3 to 6 March 2025, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, paid a working visit to Slovakia.

On 4 March, the "Uzbekistan – Slovakia" business forum was held in Bratislava, organized with the participation of relevant ministries, agencies, and representatives of the business communities of both countries. Dilshod Rasulov, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, presented the investment potential of the republic, highlighting key economic opportunities for cooperation.

During the forum, negotiations took place with representatives of leading Slovak companies, including Ladislav Hajko, Director of BEH - Food Processing Technologies; Radoslav Masarik, Sales Director of Vzduchotorg; and Miroslav Kubala, Head of Elteco Group, as well as representatives from Tate & Lyle and Any TM.

The discussions primarily focused on cooperation prospects in the fields of industry, tourism, and pharmaceuticals.

The forum concluded with G2B and B2B meetings, aimed at strengthening business partnerships between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
