Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen "in the city of Tashkent.

One of the main activities of the Branch is the training of highly qualified teaching staff in the areas of undergraduate and graduate education in accordance with international educational standards.

According to the resolution, the Branch:

- carries out training, retraining and advanced training of specialists and scientific and pedagogical personnel of all levels;

- conducts the educational process in Russian, later - also in other languages;

- carries out training of personnel in full-time, in the future - in correspondence courses;

- carries out the admission of applicants and carries out certification of graduates in accordance with the requirements and rules determined by the University in agreement with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education;

- issues graduates with a University diploma of the established sample, recognized as a document of higher education in Uzbekistan.

Also, the parameters of admission to the Branch are approved by the Branch in agreement with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Preschool Education, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the University.

Admission of students to study at the Branch is carried out on the basis of a state grant and a paid contract.

The size of the paid contract in the Branch is determined by the Branch in agreement with the Ministry of Preschool Education, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and the University.
