Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – EUROUZ, the National Chamber of Innovative Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, companies from Turkey and Italy have joined forces to hold another humanitarian action - the supply of 17 new generation ventilators to the country’s clinics with a total cost of about 40,000 euros.
Immediately after the delivery of an important cargo to Uzbekistan, non-invasive ventilators were handed over to the Ministry of Health.
“As in most actions held during the days of the pandemic, the main emphasis for the National Chamber in choosing what exactly is necessary for both patients and doctors is on innovation. In this case, a new generation of mechanical ventilation will not only help patients with severe COVID-19 disease, but also strengthen the qualifications of medical specialists in the country, give them the opportunity to keep abreast of the most modern developments in the field of equipment and treatment methods,” said the Chairman of the National Chamber innovative healthcare Rovshan Izamov.
The campaign for the purchase of modern ventilators was implemented under the coordination of EUROUZ - the European-Uzbek Association for Economic Cooperation (EUROUZ) and with the financial support of Çalık Holding (Turkey) and Pietro Fiorentini (Italy).
Support in logistics and related procedures is of particular value in these days, when the world has not yet re-established normal air traffic. Here the necessary assistance was provided by the Government of Uzbekistan, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries. Only partnership these days is a proven stronghold of any good undertaking, which has been repeatedly proved, including by the actions of the National Chamber. Among them is the initiative to deliver to Uzbekistan in mid-April this year 4 sets of electrical devices for the treatment of pulmonary diseases KTEA, which have proven themselves in Wuhan in the treatment of patients with severe forms of COVID-19.
The next joint action also achieved its main goal - to provide the most necessary assistance to patients with COVID-19.
