Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- To date, 77% of vaccinated citizens of Uzbekistan have received the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine. This was announced by Botir Kurbonov, Deputy Head of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service.

He noted that to date, 77% of vaccinated in Uzbekistan received the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine, co-authored by Uzbek and Chinese scientists.

At the same time, 18% of the vaccinated received the Astra-Zeneca (Covieshield) vaccine and 5% - the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.

According to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, as of 30 June 2021, more than 3.68 million doses of coranovirus vaccines were used in Uzbekistan.

It should be underlined that 6.5 million doses of ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine have been delivered to Uzbekistan so far. Uzbekistan also received 640,000 doses of Astra-Zeneca (Covieshield) vaccine and 240,000 doses of Sputnik V.
