Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Committee of Statistics, as of 1 July 2025, a total of 73,600 electric vehicles were registered in Uzbekistan.

The majority of these vehicles are concentrated in the capital. Tashkent alone accounts for 55,826 electric vehicles. In the Tashkent region, 5,262 vehicles were registered, followed by Samarkand region with 2,075, Kashkadarya with 1,519, Fergana with 1,509, and Khorezm with 1,659.

The lowest numbers were recorded in Surkhandarya region with 203 electric vehicles, Jizzakh with 342, and Syrdarya with 487.

Other regional figures include Bukhara with 1,285, Navoi with 1,043, Andijan with 977, Namangan with 815, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan with 590.
