Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Mahalla women activists conducted a targeted study of 21,596 women registered with internal affairs, healthcare, and other departments.
As a result of the measures taken, a total of 7,008 women were removed from the preventive register of the internal affairs bodies.
Protection orders were issued to 19,251 women who suffered from pressure and violence. As a result of the protection order, 9,309 families were reconciled and 8,259 disputes were resolved.
According to 1,877 issued protection orders, administrative or criminal liability was established and the violated rights of women were restored.
