Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 64-year-old resident of Almazar district in Tashkent with coronavirus infection died from acute respiratory and heart failure. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
The woman was hospitalized at the Tashkent City Clinical Hospital for Emergency Medicine on 1 July due to severe pain in the abdomen and left side of the chest.
On 3 July, the patient was transferred to the intensive care unit due to increased symptoms of respiratory failure. Also a test for COVID-19 was taken.
As a result, she was found to have COVID-19, bilateral pneumonia and acute respiratory failure. The patient’s condition was constantly monitored by specialists.
However, despite all the efforts of doctors, she died of acute respiratory and heart failure. This is the 41st death of a patient with COVID-19 in the country.
