During the inspections identified violations of the use of cash registers for the amount of 932.2 million soums, 93 trade points hided сash proceeds in the amount of 260.8 million soums, 166 trade points violated the rules of payment on the payment terminal, 143 trade points did not register goods worth 220.8 million soums.

This information was announced at the regular meeting of the UzLiDeP deputy group in the Karshi City Council of People’s Deputies. The report was provided by the employee of the Karshi City State Tax Inspectorate B. Abdurakhmonov.

– During the past year, supervisory authorities conducted unscheduled inspections in 32 economic entities, – said B. Abdurakhmonov. Based on the results of the audit, taxes for 4.9 billion soums were assessed. Financial sanctions for 641.2 million soums were applied. The audit materials of 9 economic entities were sent to the relevant law enforcement agencies.

It was also noted at the meeting that the decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to ensure the accelerated development of entrepreneurial activity, comprehensive protection of private property and substantial improvement of business climate" provides for the abolition of all types of counter checks of activities of business entities, including in criminal cases. In 2016, 19 counter checks were conducted.

– In accordance with article 264 of the code of administrative responsibility, the bodies of the State Tax Service are authorized to apply administrative measures in respect of the offenses set forth in articles 13 of this document, over the past year, administrative fines of 1.2 billion soums were applied against 4,970 offenders, -said B. Abdurakhmonov. – An important feature of the decree is to reduce the number timeframes of conducting inspections by improving the efficiency of off-site control of activities of entrepreneurs and business entities.
