Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to determine the damage caused as a result of an incident at a military base in Syrdarya region and eliminate the consequences, a working group has been created consisting of responsible representatives of relevant ministries and departments, as well as heads of the regional sector.

On 22 October at 04:55 an explosion occurred at the warehouse of the Ministry of Defense in the village of Malik, Syrdarya region. As a result of an explosion at a warehouse of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan in Syrdarya region, 16 people were injured.

Evaluation work was carried out in settlements that are located near the military unit. According to estimates, it was found that in 3742 residential and non-residential premises there were partial damage to the roof, ceilings, window and door frames.

As a result of the practical measures taken, 2,000 square meters of windows were handed over and installed to the population. Work in this direction is systematically continuing.
